Senior PR and Content Consultant

Bill Robbins

Our resident tech nerd and writer, Bill Robbins, loves enterprise IT. Whether it’s AI,
cybersecurity, data management, cloud computing, or regulatory compliance, Bill speaks
the language and makes it understandable and relatable to others.

Bill has over 25 years of experience in tech communications and writing with the agency
and client sides of the business. While working with national PR firms and his own
freelance practice, he’s helped major brands and innovative startups translate their
technology into practical benefits that address customer pain points.

Outside of his agency life, Bill served in senior PR positions with Dell, AMD, HP, Alchemy
Systems, and iLand Cloud (now 11:11), heading their content, product reviews, and PR
campaigns. He helped launch Dell’s consumer business, revamped HP’s server reviews,
introduced AMD’s Opteron processor, and revitalized multiple PR and content programs.

Bill’s writing prowess is not limited to a single format. His portfolio includes a wide range
of content, from blogs and white papers to case studies, ghostwritten contributed articles,
spec sheets, and press releases. Known for his ability to develop crisp, clean copy with
minimal revisions, he has also served as an executive ghostwriter, helping clients get
published in Wired, Forbes, Enterprise Times, and SC Magazine.

When Bill isn’t geeking out over the latest enterprise IT technology, he’s on his bike
logging miles. He’s been an avid cyclist since 2020 and writes a blog, Wheels Down
Texas, that profiles ride groups and people in the Texas cycling community. You’ll also
find him volunteering with Austin Bicycle Meals, delivering meals on bikes to people
experiencing homelessness in Austin.
