Product Launch + Event Support + Media Relations
UT Wire worked tirelessly to create easy-to-use cable management products and implement them into the everyday lives of homeowners. While the products were high-quality and innovative, it was imperative that UT Wire make a splash when launching their two newest products at the time at the International Home + Housewares Show in Chicago, the Q Knot Plus and Speedy-Wrap. The conference gives companies the opportunity to showcase their products to the world’s largest audience of home goods and houseware professionals, a space that UT Wire desperately needed to occupy.
Red Fan was enlisted to secure relationships with media attending IH+H to ensure UT Wire would attract booth visits, get their press kit into influencers’ hands and be set up for lasting relationships with influential media personnel. Red Fan was involved in every step of the process, which included crafting the press kit, drafting press releases announcing the launch of the two new products and coordinating product delivery to the press to ensure quality and timely reviews.
Post-conference, Red Fan continued to send samples and develop relationships with relevant outlets, leading UT Wire to be included in an issue of Better Homes and Gardens’ Do it Yourself magazine as well as in About.com’s Father’s Day Gift Guide.
Red Fan’s efforts led to an impactful IH+H presence, sample requests from Better Homes and Gardens, Good Housekeeping and more. UT Wire’s presence at the conference helped to foster ongoing relationship with reporters that were wowed by its products at IH+H.
