With only a one-week runway until launch date, Red Fan was able to work swiftly to craft a press release and begin outreach leading up to the official announcement. The team’s work, coupled with a well-designed app that was built using Apple’s ARKit and launched alongside iOS11 in September 2017, earned PLNAR more than 10,000 downloads in the first week alone and more than 100,000 in the preceding weeks.
In the five months following the launch, Red Fan worked to make introductions to local, regional and national publications, consult on best practices for securing coverage in a competitive industry, create multiple pitch angles and storylines, advise on photography for press coverage and secure byline articles.
Red Fan also spearheaded efforts creating content that mapped to business goals, including four blog posts per month, social media posts, marketing materials and the concept for an introductory video.
