Christy Klug is an award-winning jeweler who combines beauty with strength in every design she creates. In 2012, she partnered with Red Fan with two clear goals: drive brand awareness among new audiences who craved unique, wearable art, and foster media coverage around Klug’s participation in prestigious craft shows in galleries throughout the country.
To meet Klug’s objectives, Red Fan created a unique campaign that included a website redesign, social media content strategy, retail and gallery placement, as well as launch announcements. Red Fan created, implemented and maintained consistent messaging throughout Klug’s new website development as well as her individual social media channels. The new website included more visuals to highlight the elegance and beauty of each piece. Red Fan also created a fresh Pinterest account for Klug intended to serve as a curated visual hub for all of the artist’s collections, which were organized into separate boards to cultivate a variety of followers in the creative community.
Red Fan also assisted Klug with the development of her unique brand identity. By strategizing directly with the artist and business owner, Red Fan was able to formulate a strong and cohesive brand message that naturally elevated Klug’s reputation to retail and gallery prospects.
In addition to its branding efforts, Red Fan created a customized media target list for Klug and secured coverage in Austin Monthly magazine and the Denver Post. Red Fan’s combined efforts in content development, social media, and media relations served as strategic channels to spread Klug’s brand story. As a result, Klug saw positive impact on her business through increased followers on Pinterest and invitations from boutiques and retailers to feature Klug’s jewelry collections.
