Sanders Architecture, an award-winning Austin architecture firm, announced today that it has moved into new headquarters. The firm’s new location is in a fully remodeled building, formerly known as the Kerbey Lane Doll Shoppe, at 3706 Kerbey Lane, Austin, Texas, next door to the original Kerbey Lane restaurant, and occupies 1,060 square feet.

“After experiencing great success in our first five years, the firm is excited to move into our new office,” says founder and principal architect ofSanders Architecture, Christopher L. Sanders, AIA. “We transformed the space into an environment that highlights the collaborative approach our team takes with our clients. The location of our new headquarters will be the perfect place for our company to continue on this path of growth and success.”

To support this growth, Sanders Architecture on-boarded a new architectural designer, Jena Hammond. Hammond brings additional design and project management capacity to the firm. She previously interned at Bryan Associates, Inc. in Houston and at Hibser-Yamauchi Architects in Oakland and worked as a teaching assistant at The University of Texas from 2012 to 2014.

In addition, the Sanders Architecture brand underwent a reconstruction of its own earlier this year and adopted a new logo and website, which can be viewed at

Sanders Architecture provides planning, design and construction administration services for residential, commercial and institutional projects. The firm recently won two awards for their design of the Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center admissions kiosk. These awards, the AIA Design Award in the new construction category and the 2014 Green Dot Award in the build-public category, are for the firm’s innovative and sustainable design. Its completed projects also include the Away Spa at the W Austin Hotel, the corporate offices of Armbrust & Brown, LLP and Stratus Properties’ Corporate Offices.

The firm will also unveil two recently completed Austin-area residential projects later this fall, recently broke ground on a residential ranch project in Montague County, Texas, and is in the design phases of two commercial projects – the Camp Young Judaea Experiential Learning Center in Wimberly and a soon-to-be-announced new restaurant on East Cesar Chavez.
