There comes a time in Austin when the grass seems to be a bit greener, the sky a bit bluer and the music a bit louder.
This is SXSW.
To kick off the 2014 SXSW season, Red Fan assisted with the coordination of the afterparty for the U.S. premiere of Supermensch: The Legend of Shep Gordon, Mike Myers’ directorial debut which documents Shep Gordon, one of the most widely known talent managers in the entertainment industry.
Red Fan was tasked with elevating the film and the afterparty as a must-attend event at SXSW, all within just a couple of weeks of SXSW.
To ensure the film and the afterparty were positioned properly within the full scope of SXSW, Red Fan strategically selected and presented the opportunity to vendors and sponsors. To generate interest among SXSW attendees and the media, Red Fan developed and distributed a customized invitation and media alert. We also provided on-site support at the event, secured Austin Monthly as an event sponsor, Tito’s Vodka as the alcohol sponsor and Karen Morgan of Blackbird Baker to provide custom, gluten-free dessert for the event.
It ingratiated Mark Rivers within the marketplace, allowed him to do more business in Austin, and subsequent coverage of the afterparty.
