Industrious is a New York-based co-working space that is the next evolution of the modern workspace. While co-working spaces are nothing new in Austin, Industrious wanted to bring a focus on high-end hospitality, local engagement and a professional yet easy-going boutique atmosphere that offers a sense of both privacy and community.
Industrious is known for taking a first-class hospitality approach to managing its 12 locations in cities throughout the country, most recently celebrating its opening in Nashville.
Industrious’ goals in Austin were clear: earn five articles, one in the local business journal, two influential blogs or media outlets, one from a local real estate editor and one announcing the official opening and launch party.
Prior to entering the Austin market, Industrious chose to deploy its national PR agency for its launches. Recognizing our existing local relationships and connections, Industrious instead chose Red Fan as its partner.
Red Fan met the goals Industrious sought to achieve in the Austin market and then some. Industrious was covered in 512tech, the Austin American-Statesman tech spinoff, the Austin Business Journal, Curbed Austin, Community Impact, Built In Austin, Globe St., Silicon Hills News, Crain’s Austin, KVUE and others.
In addition, Red Fan helped Industrious forge relationships with key Austin influencers, including local reporters and business editors, vendors, production companies and Austin Gives, a program of the Greater Austin Chamber of Commerce that recognizes businesses with business philanthropy.
The campaign culminated in the launch party at the Industrious space, complete with a ribbon-cutting ceremony, local food and more than 100 guests, tenants, reporters and other influencers.
“We loved working with Red Fan for our Austin launch. The team was invested in getting to know us and our brand and showcasing that to local press in a way that we wouldn’t have been able to achieve without their expertise and connections. They helped us secure the press we were looking for as well as throw one of our most memorable city launch partied to date! I certainly recommend working with Kathleen and her team.”
