Registrants of this year’s Fun Run will have the ability to create teams. Teams of 20 or more will receive packet delivery, a team photo in front of the Zilker Tree provided by the Trail of Lights, team names on the Fun Run bib for groups of 10 to 25 individuals, and team names on the Fun Run T-shirt for groups of 26 or more. In addition, participants can earn 250 Humana Vitality points by completing the run.
“Each year we get to see the dedication of Austinites who enjoy making the holidays festive and this year is no different—more than 1,300 runners already registered during the August flash sale,” said James Russell, executive director of the Trail of Lights Foundation. “This is the perfect opportunity to put on your best or worst holiday gear and bring your friends, family and coworkers for a fun sneak peek of the trail. We can’t wait to see you there!”
