AUSTIN, TX (Nov. 12, 2014) -- Kathleen Kenney Lucente, president and founder of Austin-based Red Fan Communications, has been recognized by Worldwide Branding for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in public relations.
Early in her career, Lucente was a technology journalist in Boston. With more than 24 years of senior leadership roles in both the agency and corporate world, including a 4.5-year stint in Asia-Pacific overseeing 18 countries for a major bank, she decided to return to the US and build the boutique agency she dreamed of leading. She established Red Fan Communications, a boutique full-service public relations agency headquartered in the heart of Austin, Texas. At the helm of the company, Lucente offers services including brand messaging and positioning, public relations planning and management, corporate storytelling, executive visibility, company and product launches, competitor analysis and crisis communications. The firm also provides community and philanthropy relations, content creation services and coordinates grassroots campaigns. With an established pedigree of helping clients through the IPO process, working with entrepreneurs around the launch of their companies and positioning of their brands, Lucente’s team is establishing a reputation for building out campaigns that map to the business goals of clients in measurable and meaningful ways.
Lucente works with CEOs, CFOs, chief marketing officers and human resources professionals on external and internal communications plans so that she may provide top-notch strategies specific to their needs. She is called upon as a trusted advisor and is equally adept at helping her clients avert crisis situations by addressing brand reputation management concerns that clients might have not noticed. For her exemplary work in the field of public relations for more than 20 years, Lucente has met with a number of professional accolades, including her most recent recognition by Worldwide Branding. In an interview with the organization, Lucente attributed her success to not pigeonholing her career into one labeled silo, and her roster of clientele proves this has been a wise approach. She also credits her mentors to contributing to her success.
In the years to come, Lucente plans to take her boutique agency to the next level by continuing to serve high-end clientele throughout Austin and the US.
